Why is the temperature on the thermometer set at 42°.
Have you ever boiled an egg? After a few minutes of boiling, the protein curdles, become dense and white; this process is called denaturation.
At 42 Degree Celsius, the body also starts denaturing (clotting) blood proteins.
Furthermore, at this temperature, metabolic disorders begin in he brain. Such a condition is already incompatible with life, i.e. fatal.
