Why are there more right-handers than left-handers?

The motor functions of the right side of the body are controlled by the left hemisphere of the brain, which is responsible for logic and consistency of thought. Namely these qualities were the guarantee of survival in ancient times.

In general, the most intelligent and rational people with dominating left hemisphere continued to live. And they also enshrined in human DNA a code: left hemisphere is prevailing, right hand is leading.
