Q. Why is Mercury a liquid?
The other metals we are used to seeing as solids have a much higher melting point than mercury.
Mercury, on the other hand, has a melting point of -38.83 Degree Celsius, mercury become solid, like all metals.
Being in this aggregate state, mercury begins to evaporate at room temperature, just like any liquid.
